I got great value for my money at Islesburgh House. The room was equipped with a kettle and fridge, and the kitchen had everything I needed.

The breakfast could have been better with a wider selection.

This hostel is a hidden gem with beautiful rooms, a spacious lounge, and a gaming room. the staff are caring and allow you to store your luggage and bicycles. It's the best hostel we've ever stayed in!

As bike riders, we loved the convenient location and the well-equipped kitchen for preparing our meals. the storage shelves and baskets were a bonus for organizing our supplies. the pool room and games cupboard provided plenty of entertainment options, and the sitting room with books and couches was a cozy spot to relax. the staff were helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We felt at home instantly, with no reason to complain.

Great location, very clean. Good facilities. the hostel was centrally located, making it easy for us to explore the area. the cleanliness of the hostel was impressive, with well-maintained facilities. the hostel provided good facilities such as a games room and a lounge with a TV, which kept us entertained during our stay.

Lack of information and minor inconveniences. We found the lack of information regarding local amenities and services to be frustrating.

Great location in town, helpful and welcoming staff, and well-equipped kitchen.

Expensive for solo travelers and becoming less like a hostel.

Clean, quiet, and beautifully bright. Loved having a little fridge and a kettle in the rooms. the lounge was nice. plenty of hooks to hang clothes and the little shelves with USB ports and baskets were a great idea for keeping small items organized.

The signage was confusing and disconcerting, especially for strangers just off the ferry. the convenience of nearby grocery or shopping was lacking.

Recently stayed at Islesburgh House for a few days. The hostel's beautiful building and comfortable games room and lounge were perfect for relaxation. The self-catering kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. Having a fridge, kettle, and en suite facilities in the room was a great convenience. The WiFi connection and proximity to the town center were highly appreciated. The nearby community center provided delicious meals at reasonable prices. The laundry facilities and luggage room made traveling lighter and more manageable. a fantastic experience with friendly staff and an exceptional level of cleanliness.

    Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The location was convenient, just a short walk from town and the ferry port. The kitchen and cooking facilities were well-maintained and organized, with separate fridges and clear food labeling. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing a guided tour of the facilities and offering interesting information about the building's history. being close to supermarkets and public transportation made it a perfect base for exploring the island. We had a fantastic stay at Islesburgh House! The games room and lounge were comfortable, and we loved the beautiful building. The self-catering kitchen was stress-free to use, and it was convenient to have a fridge and kettle in our room. The en suite and adjacent facilities were closely located, and the WiFi connection was appreciated by my teenage child. The hostel's proximity to the town center was ideal, and we found the community center next door handy for affordable meals. The availability of a washing machine, dryer, and drying room was a godsend, allowing us to travel lighter. The lift and reading area on the first floor were also nice touches. we couldn't have asked for a better hostel experience!

    All good 👍
